The case is being handled by the investigations department of the OPD, Christensen said.
The discovery of the body is the second to occur in Ogden in less than 24 hours.
On Sunday around 4:15 p.m., Ogden police were called to 1000 West and 600 North in the Business Depot Ogden where a woman’s body had been found in the canal, according to a news release from Ogden Police Department.
